Prospects and possibilities

Efficient reduction of pollutants with simultaneous high profitability is the current demand on the construction and operation of the plants for thermal processing of waste and residual products. The range of these materials includes refuse, hazardous waste, sewage sludge up to biomass. However, today also the following questions need an answer: What is the impact of the crisis on the profitability of thermal waste treatment? What about the plans for plant extensions? What about planning of new plants? These and other topics will be dealt with during the 7. Potsdam Specialist Conference at Hotel am Griebnitzsee Potsdam, Mediencity Babelsberg/Germany. Amongst other things, the following topics are planned for inclusion: flue gas purification, processes of NOx separation, SCR vs. SNCR, hazardous waste abatement, filter technology, operating experience, plant configurations, energy efficiency, absorbents and adsorbents.
