Understand processes – optimize processes

Due to the great interest, the seminar “Understand processes – optimize processes” organized by the company 3e consult in cooperation with the company aixprocess is offered again, in particular for the cement industry. On Wednesday, 14 October 2009, the organizers will welcome the predominantly German-speaking participants to discuss the important topics of the use of secondary fuels, reduced pressure loss and optimization of production (Fig.).

In the wake of the renewed increase in oil prices since the beginning of the year, the fuel costs for the cement industry will also again increase. In order to ensure the profitability of cement production, further potentials for cost reduction have to be implemented. In the meantime the cement industry has reached a respectable stage of development as regards efficiency and fuel substitution. Further optimizations will only be possible based on a well-founded understanding of the processes. In the seminar it will be shown very pragmatically how cement making can be optimized by means of conventional and modern engineering tools and now the use of secondary fuels can be maximized. The organizers have prepared the seminar in such a way that the participants will immediately be able to benefit directly from the discussion of real problems existing in the cement industry. As a special feature, the organizer will offer to each participant to provision of an initial analysis and consultation free of charge within the framework of the seminar for a specific case of optimization from the practice of the corresponding production site.
