In addition to the lecture program, an excursion to the Zurich-based Sika Schweiz AG or, alternatively, to the Empa Laboratories for Concrete/Construction Chemistry and for Building Science & Technology, is on the agenda. Booking is required for this. Dr. Hubert Motzet, the Chairman of the Division will welcome the participants in Dübendorf. Dr. Frank Winnefeld from Empa will coordinate the conference. The lectures and the poster session of the conference will focus on:

Sustainable building materials of the future

Research and development

Computer-based methods in construction chemistry

Investigation and test methods

Damage mechanisms and durability

Products and applications

Funktionalisation of building material surfaces

The general meeting will also take place within the framework of the conference. The number of participants is limited to 220. Registrations should be submitted online by 29.08.2012.
