Award of the section for the upcoming generation

The section “construction chemistry” within the Society of German Chemists offers in open competition a sponsorship prize for an outstanding dissertation, thesis or an equal scientific paper in the field of construction chemistry. The prize is intended in particular for young scientists up to maximum two years after the PhD. Proposals can be made by university lecturers or corresponding representatives of the industry. In special cases it also possible that the authors themselves can apply. A committee of experts will decide with simple majority who will be selected. The prize will be presented within the framework of the annual meeting of the section “construction chemistry” that will take place in Dortmund from 7 to 8 October 2010. The award comprises an awarding certificate and a prize money of 1000 €. Applications can be handed in formlessly. They have to include the reason for the proposal and the CV of the candidate as well as three copies of the corresponding scientific paper by 30.05.2010. They must be sent to:
