The Project Qatar, International Trade Exhibition for ­Construction Technology, Building Materials, Equipment and Environmental Technology, will open its gates for the seventh time from 12.–15.04.2010. The venue will be the DEC – Doha Exhibition Center – in Doha/Qatar. This event has again been included in the program of foreign fairs of the Federal Government. Thus, German exhibitors can again benefit from the organizational and financial advantages of a participation within the framework of a German pavilion. Qatar is booming despite the global economic crisis, and the economic potential is considered as not yet exhausted. The growth forecasts for the gross domestic product of 2009 are levelling out at 10  %. For 2010 a growth of almost 24  % is expected.
